I am having similar issues to others that have posted here and its rare I provide negative feedback however in this instance its totally deserved. During the recent weather events in Queensland we had some minor roof leaks and contact AAMI to make a claim. Surprisingly the first thing they wanted was the excess up front before proceeding. Once that was paid we never heard from them again. I have continued to try and work with AAMI however they have been even more unhelpful since I contacted the ombudsman.

I also got a call from a giggly tech manager who stated that she couldn't help me but could pass the message on to my claim manager . I ended up lodging a complaint to get someone to take my claim seriously and call me back. I was talked over, talked at, told I'd done the wrong thing in how I'd submitted quotes .
